Another year over.

That is that for 2009.
I can't wait to be done with this house project, its done my head in. Hrmm or should I say that Geoff with his foolish games has done my head in. That is one man who really needs to get some help for his conditions rather than making the world around him difficult. Ah well, nearly done with the bathroom and them I'm away from the angry violent man that is Geoff.

At least this year has bought some good things too.... Cam for one, living in a great place and racing my car.

Well here is to 2010 being a year of fun, racing and calm.

LADYHAWKE!!!!!
Went and saw Ladyhawke live at the San Francisco Bathhouse last night. It was a great show and Pip Brown voice sounds great live. They were supported by Over the Atlantic who had an infuence of the 80's a bit like Ladyhawke, in fact they at times sounded a bit like Morressy and The Mission.

The venue is a bit 'meh' with the sounds system lacking somewhat in quality. They have all the sound projecting from the front with nothing as fill over the rest of the venue. Man-o-man they need to update and use some mod-cons with technology. Its a typical bar with short pours on the drinks and drunken fools passing out here and there. But all that aside and focusing on the reason we were there. I really really enjoyed the music!

More stuff

Wow my brain is getting full up from study I tell ya! Who said that study was enlightening and uplifting... its just brain breaking more like. lol.

Had a bit of an inspiration the other day about this house project I'm doing, I thought if I spend two full day a week on it after I've finished my exam, (in two weeks) I should have the place nearly ready for sale by the end of March. Now that would be fantastic! Means I'm finally away from SM & SP and it also means that I can plan to go to Spain.
So now I have Wednesdays off each week (for the next four months) so I can spend the needed two days a week up at the house getting things done. So lets hope that reason and motivation are with the other projectee.

Here I go into the world of blogging. Those who chose to read of my meanderings through life will have the great 'pleasure' of my thoughts, opinions (I have many) and various Chelle-ism's.

First off I'd like to quote a little girl called Anna, from a book called 'Mister God, this is Anna' a true story by Fynn.

'He,' she said indignantly , pointing an accusing finger [at the park keeper], 'told me to get off the grass.'
'Yes,' I replied, 'you're not supposed to be on this bit of grass.'
'But its the best bit,' she said.

In this life I'm being a bit like Anna I guess... trying to find the best bits and getting a bit shirty when someone tells me I can't have them.
By 'best bits' I don't mean 'things'... 'Things' in general don't mean much to me (Yes, yes, yes my race car rates high as a 'thing' for me), but I mean you... people... those things. Understanding 'bigg picture' stuff, getting the hang of what 'Mister God' has put me here for. Ya know...

I have a list of things I want to do by the time I'm 40 which I just found. I wrote this about 7 years ago

Hrmm... I've managed 3 & 4, still working on 5 & 8, doing 6, and 7 ain't gonna happen unless God does some magic. So 1 & 2 left to do. As soon as the house sells number 2 is a happening thing and number 1 I'll do in summer perhaps.
